If you, like me are an older person who never got the chance to do this, but have always wanted to learn these are the people to teach you.

What an amazing session! It was great to learn the techniques and why they were needed for a safe and enjoyable cruise. I wanted to try longboarding to push past some fears and try something totally different to what I normally do. Alex spent so much time helping me feel safe and confident with preparation exercises before I began moving independently on the board. I couldn't believe I actually managed to stay on the board! Learned more in those two hours than I did on my own in a few years. I wanted to learn how to longboard dance, so first they helped me get more comfortable riding with my opposite stance. With their exercises/tips it happened a lot quicker than I expected. Then we worked on carving and basic dance steps, all the while keeping good technique in mind- stuff you don’t see in Youtube tutorials (how I was trying to learn before). It was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend the school to anyone. (And I personally suggest selecting Victoria Park as your class location.) I had a longboard lesson with Alex and Teresa and they are brilliant sensei’s of the longboard!! Both are very friendly and encouraging, I learnt so much in just two hours with them and i can really feel the improvement in my technique and how much more comfortable I feel on the board!! I’m looking forward to having more lessons with them and they’re positive vibes, I cannot recommend them enough!! I booked a group class with my 14 y/o niece and my boyfriend. Both of them are experienced longboarders while I am a complete novice.
Teresa and Alex were wonderful. They gave each of us the level of instruction and attention we needed.
They brought all the safety gear and we practice falling safely.
I was so happy to be able to balance on a board for the first time and left with a taste for more 🙂
