Who we are

We’re Alex and Teresa, we’re a Brazilian/English couple who have run Guanabara Boards longboard school and skateboard collective since 2010. Our school was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has since spread out into Europe, Australia, and South America. Our passion is to share the health benefits and lifestyle of skateboarding with the world. No matter age, gender or lifestyle, we have proven again and again, that absolutely anybody can, and should, learn to longboard.
